Description: This is an audition only team with membership recruitment happening the previous school year, with a limited number of positions available in the fall for students new to IMS. The Phoenix Engineers are a dedicated group of 30 students who push themselves beyond the general classroom standards to compete in science and engineering competitions throughout the year. Membership in the Phoenix engineers includes an application process and try outs for the team. This team is a full year commitment, with weekend events and local travel required. Competition season running November - May, and preparations start in August.
