The IMS Speech and Debate team is currently the number one middle school debate team in Central Florida. They were the only middle school team from OCPS to take students to the national competition in Dallas, TX this past summer. Students who participate on this team will learn real world skills such as; confidence, organization, time management, learning of to both win and lose graciously, and the ability to collaborate. This team does require you to compete in tournaments throughout the school year.
